Big Box of Stress Relief

ISLINGTON CAMHS

THE BRIEF

Islington Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service team (CAMHS) were keen to find opportunities to actively engage young people in school to openly discuss mental health. Building personal resilience, improving lives and empowering young people to manage stress and anxiety.

THE OUTPUT

Working with past service users, the group explored ideas and together co-produced a practical toolkit enabling young people to talk about, and destigmatise, mental health issues using every day, familiar objects.

Playing a dual role, The Big Box of Stress Relief, facilitates conversation between young people whilst supporting teachers to explore ways to support young people and their families.
